The standard version routes the clew outhaul via a central sheave to deck, with additional port and starboard sheaves for reefing lines, flattener lines and flyaway pole elastics. The gnav-specific version routes the gnav line to deck via the central sheave instead of the outhaul, and is the correct fitting for boats where the boom is part of a gnav inverted vang system.
