Duralac is used whenever a stainless steel fitting is attached to an aluminium spar. Rigging screw oil is used on the threads of rigging screws and other high-load screw fittings. Experience has shown Duralac outperforms other products for this application and its use is strongly recommended when adding new fittings or replacing existing ones on aluminium spars. This is the current green formulation, which is more environmentally friendly than the original yellow product.
