Only tooling designed specifically for Talurit ferrules should be used, as incorrect tooling will not form the correct ferrule geometry and the resulting eye may fail under load. Choose the ferrule size to match your wire diameter: No 2.5 for ø2mm wire, No 3.5 for ø3mm wire and No 4.5 for ø4mm wire.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStainless steel thimbles are fitted inside the wire loop to protect the wire at the eye from chafe and to maintain the correct radius around the shackle or fitting.
