How to choose
The carbon fully adjustable spreader sets use the same adjustment mechanism as the aluminium fully adjustable range: moulded thumbscrews set the angle in 1-degree increments, with a detent pin to lock the setting. The carbon tube reduces weight compared to the aluminium version, which matters on performance dinghies where spar weight affects mast bend characteristics and overall boat weight.
The standard 35-degree range adjusts from 0 to 35 degrees and covers lengths from 300mm to 500mm. The high-sweep 40-degree range adjusts from 10 to 40 degrees and is available at 300mm, 350mm, 375mm, 400mm, 450mm and 520mm for classes requiring more sweep. Both ranges use the same spreader brackets as the aluminium fully adjustable system — the carbon tube is a direct drop-in replacement on the same bracket.
Confirm the correct length and sweep angle with your class association or tuning guide before ordering. Changing spreader length or angle affects shroud geometry and rig loads and may affect class legality.

Each set is supplied complete with two carbon spreaders, thumbscrew adjusters, detent pins and all fixings.
Carbon high-sweep 40-degree spreader sets are available in 300mm (503-810-01), 350mm (503-812-01), 375mm (503-813-01), 400mm (503-814-01), 450mm (503-816-01) and 520mm (503-819-01). These suit classes requiring angle adjustment from 10 to 40 degrees.
