How to choose
This collection covers the individual components that wear or are lost from Seldén dinghy spreader systems, allowing a single part to be replaced without buying a complete spreader set.
The length adjuster (500-801-01) is the standard end fitting on most fully and vernier adjustable spreader sets. It grips 2.5mm and 3.0mm wire in two slots and allows the spreader length to be set in 5mm increments. If you only need a fixed attachment with no length adjustment, the fixed length end (500-807-01) is the simpler alternative and can be used as an upgrade on a spreader already fitted with a length adjuster without any modification to the tube.
The pivot bolt and nut kit (155-049-01) is a special shoulder bolt used in the fully adjustable spreader system. The plain section of the bolt forms a bearing surface for the spreader tube, reducing wear at the bracket pivot point. Each spreader requires one pack, which contains two bolts and two M5 lock nuts.
Two clevis pin sizes are available: the ø4.76x8.9mm pin (165-607) for use in spreader length adjusters, and the ø4.7x17mm pin (165-608) for use in the vernier adjustable spreader system where each spreader requires two pins.
The spreader adjuster kit (503-767-01) is a complete replacement set of the thumbscrew adjusters for the fully adjustable system, supplied with two angle adjusters, shoulder bolts, detent angle locking pins and rigging screw oil for initial lubrication.
