This collection covers two distinct systems. The System 15 struts are compression struts used within Seldén's System 15 mainsheet and boom vang arrangements on dinghies. The gnav components are for boats fitted with a gnav system, where an inverted strut replaces the conventional kicker and runs from the boom down to the mast rather than upward.
For System 15 strut components, check whether your existing installation uses an aluminium or carbon strut before ordering a replacement. The aluminium strut is the standard option at 500 mm. The carbon version is the weight-saving alternative at the same length. The dinghy mast strut and strut car are the System 15-specific fittings that connect the strut into the track and mast base arrangement. The toggle is a small connecting component used in the System 15 strut assembly.
For gnav components, the strut body and end fitting are sold separately. If you are replacing only the cast stainless end fitting on an existing gnav strut, the end fitting (507-954) is the correct part. If you need the complete strut, the gnav strut (025-025-26) includes stainless steel ends and is 700 mm in length. The gnav system requires additional components beyond those in this collection — the gnav car, inboard boom end and boom fittings are listed separately in the boom fittings range.

The gnav strut (025-025-26) is a 700 mm black anodised aluminium strut with stainless steel ends, used as the compression element in a gnav inverted vang system. A gnav replaces the conventional kicker, running from the boom down to the mast base, freeing up cockpit space and maintaining boom control without a kicking strap.
The gnav strut end (507-954) is the cast stainless steel end fitting for the gnav strut, available separately for replacement.
