Seldén goosenecks for dinghy masts in composite, stainless steel and aluminium, section-specific for all current Seldén dinghy sections and for older boom systems, plus spigots, toggles and associated pins for a complete boom-to-mast connection.
How to choose
The gooseneck connects the boom to the mast and must match both the mast section and the boom end type. Most dinghies use a bracket-style gooseneck that rivets to the mast, with a horizontal pin carrying the thrust loads from the boom. Choose the gooseneck material and section to match your existing fitting.
Composite goosenecks are the standard option for most dinghy sections, offering good strength at low weight. Two variants cover the full aluminium section range: one for Lambda, Kappa, Zeta, Cumulus, Alto, Epsilon and Gamma sections, and one for C, D+ and E sections. The stainless steel gooseneck is for Kappa, Zeta, Cumulus, Epsilon and Gamma masts fitted with a gnav, where the higher loads from the inverted vang system call for a stronger fitting. The extended stainless gooseneck moves the pivot point aft compared to the standard version: this eases outhaul tension as the mainsheet is eased and squares the boom more when running. It fits the same sections as the composite version for Lambda to Gamma.
Aluminium goosenecks are available for the electron rotating mast section and the 2120 mast section. The carbon bracket adaptor is for series 3 carbon masts where a standard gooseneck bracket cannot be riveted directly to the spar.
For older booms without a bracket-style gooseneck, two spigot options are available. The square spigot with toggle suits older boom designs. The stainless spigot with composite toggle and short horizontal pin is the current replacement for these systems. Neither includes the vertical pin, which must be sourced separately.

The stainless steel extended gooseneck (508-808-01) fits Lambda, Kappa, Zeta, Cumulus, Alto, Epsilon and Gamma sections. By moving the pivot point aft, outhaul tension eases as the mainsheet is eased and the boom squares off more when running, increasing effective sail area downwind. Hole spacings match the standard goosenecks for a straightforward upgrade. Supplied with rivets.

The carbon bracket adaptor (508-291) is a composite adaptor for series 3 carbon masts where a standard bracket gooseneck cannot be directly riveted.
The square gooseneck spigot and toggle (528-093-01) is an aluminium spigot with toggle for older boom designs. Vertical pin not included.
The stainless spigot with composite toggle (528-103-09) is the current spigot and toggle replacement with a short horizontal pin. Vertical pin not included.
