Seldén carbon spinnaker pole kits in ø33mm and ø39mm diameters, supplied as self-assembly kits with Seldén composite end fittings, pop-rivets, a centre fitting and instructions — up to 40% lighter than an equivalent aluminium pole.
How to choose
Choose the pole diameter and maximum overall length that matches your class rules and deck layout. The ø33mm kit is available in a single maximum length of 2700mm and is supplied with a centre eye. The ø39mm kit is available in three maximum lengths: 1830mm, 2100mm and 2700mm. These kits include a lift strop rather than a centre eye, suited to boats where the centre fitting is the uphaul attachment point via a webbing strop.
The maximum overall length stated includes the end fittings. The pole tube will be cut shorter than the maximum length to achieve the correct finished pole length for your class. Each kit includes installation instructions and the fixing rivets needed for assembly.
All carbon sections are manufactured at Seldén's UK facility using a fully automated CNC-controlled process called Mandrel Filament Moulding. This ensures consistent laminate quality and accuracy across the section length.
Check your class rules for the permitted pole diameter and maximum length before ordering. A carbon pole is up to 40% lighter than an aluminium equivalent, which improves handling during hoists, gybes and drops.
