How to choose
The BBB25 is a specialist block designed for high load relative to its size. Unlike the standard BBB range where sheave diameter follows line size, the BBB25 is built around an all-stainless steel construction with stainless ball bearings and ball cages, making it significantly stronger than its 25 mm sheave size suggests. It handles wire and rope up to 5 mm and is the right choice where a compact, strong block is needed and space or weight is at a premium.
Typical applications are halyard tackles, control line purchase systems and anywhere a high-load block needs to fit into a tight space on a small dinghy. It is not the right choice as a mainsheet block on larger boats, the standard BBB30, BBB40 or BBB60 range handles larger line diameters and is better matched to mainsheet loads.
For singles, choose the attachment type to match your fitting point. The strap loop version attaches with a shackle or line through the loop. The fixed pin version mounts with a tie-on lashing. The removable pin version allows the block to be detached quickly without tools. The becket with removable pin adds a secondary attachment point for anchoring the standing end of a purchase system.
For doubles and triples, both are available with and without a becket. Add a becket when the standing end of the tackle returns to the block. The triple strap and triple becket strap are suited to higher purchase systems in compact applications where a larger block series would be too bulky.

The BBB25 double range covers lines up to 5 mm and is available as a strap double (402-201-08R) and a becket strap double (402-201-09R).
The BBB25 triple range covers lines up to 5 mm and is available as a strap triple (402-201-10R) and a becket strap triple (402-201-11R).
