Seldén end fittings for dinghy spinnaker and gennaker poles, covering spinnaker pole ends in four diameters for Seldén aluminium and carbon poles, and gennaker pole inboard and outboard ends for ø38mm and ø47mm inner diameter poles.
How to choose
Spinnaker and gennaker poles use different end fittings and the two types are not interchangeable. Identify which type of pole you have before ordering.
For spinnaker poles, all four Seldén pole ends use the same nylon body with a cast stainless steel plunger, designed to match the radius of the Seldén mast spinnaker pole eye (534-523) for full articulation. Choose the end that matches your pole diameter: 25mm for all Seldén aluminium tapered poles, 32mm for untapered aluminium poles, 33mm for 33mm carbon poles and 39mm for 39mm carbon poles. The 32mm, 33mm and 39mm ends are each supplied with a section adapter.
For gennaker poles, the inboard end connects to the mast or launcher and the outboard end carries the gennaker tack. Choose by pole inner diameter. The composite outboard end suits ø38mm ID poles. The aluminium outboard end suits ø47mm ID poles and includes a ø9mm central tack line hole. The nylon inboard end for ø47mm poles includes a ø25mm central hole for the tack line if required. A separate inboard end is available for the RS200 class specifically.
