Seldén System 15 track, mainsheet traveller cars and jib cars for dinghies and small keelboats up to approximately 22 feet, with standard and pinstop track profiles and a full range of car configurations from simple toggle to complete mainsheet systems.
How to choose
System 15 uses a 15 mm wide aluminium track profile. Before ordering, confirm that your boat is fitted with System 15 track. Cars from System 15 and System 22 are not interchangeable.
There are two track types. Standard track accepts all System 15 cars and suits mainsheet traveller installations. It mounts with M4 screws on 50 mm hole spacing. Pinstop track has a spring-loaded plunger on the car that drops into indexed holes spaced 19 mm apart, giving positive, repeatable positions without needing to hold the car under load. Pinstop track mounts with M5 screws on 76 mm hole spacing and is the better choice for jib sheet lead positions where fine adjustment and security under load matter.
For mainsheet traveller cars, choose the level of purchase and features you need. The basic toggle car is the lightest option with a single attachment point. Adding beckets gives a 1:1 purchase arrangement. Adding BBB20 control blocks gives a 2:1 purchase on the traveller control line, making adjustment easier when the mainsheet is loaded. The full kit version also includes a BBB30 swivelling sheet block on a stand-up spring, providing a complete mainsheet system in one assembly.
For jib cars, the pinstop cars are available in port and starboard-specific versions where the cam cleat is angled correctly for the sheet lead on that side. A version without block and a version with a BBB30 tie-on block already fitted are available, depending on whether you are replacing the car alone or the complete assembly.
End caps close off the track at each end. The standard track end cap suits standard track. The pinstop track end cap includes a dead-end hole that allows the control line to be terminated at the end cap, creating a 2:1 purchase arrangement on the car without a separate anchor point.
What's in this collection
Standard track is available in 600 mm (441-001-01), 1000 mm (441-001-02) and 1500 mm (441-001-03). All are 15 mm wide, 9 mm high and mount with M4 screws on 50 mm hole spacing.
Pinstop track is available in 300 mm (441-002-01) and 1000 mm (441-002-03). Both are 15 mm wide, 9 mm high, mount with M5 screws on 76 mm hole spacing, and have 19 mm spacing between indexed trim positions.
Main traveller cars all use black anodised aluminium construction with Torlon ball bearings. Available as: toggle only (441-101-04), toggle with beckets for 1:1 purchase (441-101-03), toggle with BBB20 control blocks for 2:1 traveller purchase (441-101-01), and toggle with BBB20 control blocks plus a BBB30 swivelling sheet block on stand-up spring (441-101-02). The tie-on car (441-102-01) suits installations where a tie-on block is preferred over a fixed attachment point.
Jib pinstop cars are available as starboard (441-103-01), port (441-103-02), without block (441-103-03) and with a BBB30 tie-on block already fitted (441-103-04). The pinstop plunger is ergonomically designed for easy adjustment with cold hands.
End caps are available for standard track (441-106, M4 fastener) and pinstop track (441-105, M5 fastener, with dead-end hole for 2:1 control line purchase).
