Seldén T-terminals for dinghy standing rigging wire in ø2mm, ø2.5mm, ø3mm and ø4mm, for use with Seldén backing plates only, plus a retaining plug that reduces accidental disengagement and limits water ingress during a capsize.
How to choose
A T-terminal slots through the mast wall and engages in a backing plate, giving a clean, low-profile connection for lower shrouds and 2:1 jib halyards where the wire must pass through the mast wall without a bulky external fitting. Choose the terminal to match your wire diameter.
Seldén T-terminals must only be used with Seldén backing plates. Mixing Seldén terminals with non-Seldén backing plates, or non-Seldén terminals with Seldén backing plates, is a severe safety risk and will void any warranty or responsibility from Seldén. If you are replacing a terminal, confirm it is the Seldén system before ordering.
The T-terminal retaining plug (530-230) inserts into the backing plate after the terminal is engaged. It reduces the risk of accidental disengagement and limits water ingress through the fitting during a capsize. It is a small but worthwhile addition to any T-terminal installation.
What's in this collection
The T-terminal for ø2mm wire (308-373) is the smallest in the range, for the lightest dinghy standing rigging.
The T-terminal for ø2.5mm wire (308-372) suits ø2.5mm standing rigging wire.
The T-terminal for ø3mm wire (308-321) has an 8-degree angle and a maximum lateral shroud angle of 20 degrees.
The T-terminal for ø4mm wire (308-322) is the largest in the dinghy range, suited to heavier standing rigging on larger or more highly loaded rigs.
The T-terminal retaining plug (530-230) inserts into the backing plate as the T-terminal is engaged. It reduces accidental disengagement and limits water ingress during a capsize.
