Solo Complete Mast, Zeta Section, Extended Gooseneck

Seldén Zeta has been designed for lighter sailors and as a modern version on C Sleeved. The modern profile has a greater balance of stiffness. The customer Solo taper provides realtievely similar bend to D+ allowing a softer section to still support the roach. An 800mm internal sleeve is fitted at deck that supports the section from local loading and stiffens the lower panel. Tubes are extruded from Seldén XPS aluminum. This unique material, alloyed specifically for Seldén, provides higher tensile strength than other grades. It was originally developed for the Solo where the higher UTS reduces the risk of spars taking a permanent bend.This version is fitted with an extended gooseneck that effectively loosens the foot without using the outhaul and allows the boom to square off further when running. Note, the boom black band will need to be re-positioned. This mast is supplied complete and ready to race. A halyard lock can be fitted by one of our expert dealers.
