470 Complete Boom, Ultima Section

The ultimate 470 boom, competition specification and fully fitted. Ultima is now the most popular boom in the class. Optimsed for verticle stiffness the ')plank') profile is stiffness and weight efficient. Weight is further reduced by eliminating the underside track meaning the kicker and mainsheet attachments are in fixed positions. The outboard end has a class maximum ')slash') and the outboard end fitting has been replaced by an integrated sheave. Includes kicker soft attachment, fixed 40mm ball bearing blocks and outhaul system. Ultima is extruded from Seldén XPS aluminum. This unique material alloyed specifically for Seldén provides higher tensile strength than other grades.
