Pack of 1 Monel pop-rivet. ø4.8 x 11 mm. Type of head: Dome. Stainless Steel pop rivets are designed for riveting onto carbon products such as a booms. It is create a different collapse of the rivet material to spread the load better for pop riveting onto carbon products. When 'pulled up' it will create a ‘flat washer type’ spread of material. If you use conventional pop rivets to secure onto carbon, this could result in the pop rivet cracking the carbon surface, as the collapse of material is more ‘bulbous' when pulled up on the mandrel with the riveting tool.
